Do you really need a Travel Agent to visit Costa Rica?

The answer to that could be yes or no......

Travel agents make it easier for when you are ready to go on vacation. We can book your airline tickets, hotel accomodations, activities and transport.

I can only speak for myself and I am sure other travel agents may provide more services but I can help you with hotel accomodations, activities and transport. All I require is a budget, your dates and number of people. I do all of the research for you and present you with my findings. If you don't like what I have chosen for you, I go back and until I find what makes you happy.

Once your payment is made , I will send you a detailed itinerary of all that was planned.

Please be realistic with your budget for the total trip and not say ,"I only want to spend $500, $100 per night , do some activities and stay for 7 nights!!" NOT REALISTIC!!

Is there a fee? All agencies work differently.

Planning your vacation takes time and research and I do require a non-refundable $100 deposit to start the process. If you decide you love the package presented to you, I will deduct that amount from your total. If you wait until the last minute which is anything less than 14 nights, it will be an additional $50 just for stressing me out!! I process all payments via PayPal and I do have to add a processing fee to your final quote total.

Since I am helping the vendors get reservations, they pay me a commission for booking their businesses. I do not work with US chain hotels that are in Costa Rica, so if you are looking to use points or stay with a familiar brand like Marriott....I am not your girl!

I really don't like booking clients at all-inclusive places either. One... they are normally further away from everything and you are basically stuck there. Two...I also believe to truly experience Costa Rica and not be stuck with a bunch of other tourists you need to mix with the locals!

I live in Costa Rica , so you are getting someone that has connections and knows a bit more about the country. I have been here for over 10 years and I am still always learning and discovering new thing all of the time.

So, do you really need a travel agent?

Everyone can truly book their own vacation but do you have time to? If you do have the time go for it and if you don't....travel agents are here for you!
